Planet Defence is a free browser arcade game where you man a rotating turret on the surface of a planet and blast incoming asteroids from every direction before they reach you. Cinematic, tense, and endlessly replayable — it is a lone defender against an ever-growing asteroid siege.

How It Works

A large orange Venus-like planet sits at the center of the screen, slowly rotating. A gunmetal turret mounts on its surface and follows your cursor a full 360 degrees. Asteroids — gray rocky space rocks in three sizes — spawn continuously from all four screen edges and fly straight toward your planet.

Click anywhere to fire a cyan laser bolt in that direction. Destroy every incoming asteroid before it reaches the planet. Let one through and it is game over.

The difficulty scales with your score — the more asteroids you destroy, the more appear simultaneously. What starts as a manageable stream quickly becomes a frantic multi-direction barrage demanding constant scanning and rapid targeting.
